We hear that plans for Lotts Road Power Station site include proposals for a boating marina – which is excellent news.


The Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, Admiral the Lord Boyce KG, GCB, OBE, DL opened the workshops of Faversham Creek Trust on Thursday 30 May 2013, and is seen here with the Mayor of Faversham Cllr David Simmonds and Sea Cadet Ben Chittenden.  The Lord Warden spoke warmly of the town’s maritime heritage, how it had contributed over many centuries to the national maritime story and how pleased he was to see new training workshops for maritime apprentices being developed.
